Compostable coffee cups and ice cream cups
The compostable board comes on two cups: single wall hot cups in 10, 12, 16 and 20 oz, and ice cream cups in every size. It costs +$30 per case on top of the same size and print in standard board. However, double wall cups and soup containers are made in standard board only.

Standard or compostable: what each cup is made of
Standard cups are paperboard with a PE (polyethylene) lining, and every cup we make is recyclable.
The compostable option is water-based coated paperboard, certified compostable by BPI. So that is the claim we make for it, in those words: BPI-certified compostable.
Comparing biodegradable coffee cups, biodegradable paper cups or plastic free paper cups from different suppliers? Ask each one what the board is made of and which certification it carries. Ours is above, for both boards.

Kraft paper cups
Kraft paper cups cost +$15 per case, single or double wall, in every size, on top of the same size and print. As with compostable board, ask for kraft in your quote and your account manager confirms it in writing.

Questions we get
Are your paper cups recyclable?
Yes. In fact, every cup we make is recyclable, including our standard cups, which are paperboard with a PE (polyethylene) lining. If recyclable paper cups are all you need, standard board costs less than the compostable option.
Which eco friendly paper cups should I choose?
It depends on where your cups go after use. First of all, every cup we make is recyclable. In addition, the water-based board is BPI-certified compostable, for +$30 per case on single wall hot cups (10 to 20 oz) and on every ice cream cup size.
Can I get compostable double wall cups or soup containers?
No, because the compostable board is available only on single wall hot cups in 10, 12, 16 and 20 oz and on every ice cream cup size. Double wall cups and soup containers come in standard board, which is recyclable.
How many colors can you print on compostable cups?
Up to 4 colors on a matte finish, and up to 3 on gloss.
What happens after I request a quote?
